Commercial space renovation on Hoholivska

Commercial space on Hoholivska

A space on Hoholivska Street in Kyiv: a full-scale renovation from demolition to handover, carried out between February 2016 and December 2017. The basement floor and walls were stripped out, a trench was dug for utilities, pipes were replaced, and new plumbing, ventilation and electrics were installed. The finishing stage included plasterboard and suspended ceilings with downlights, painted walls, large-format porcelain stoneware on floors and stairs, and a tiled bathroom with fixtures; some rooms received polished concrete floors and a panoramic window.

The bars are built from the dates the photographs were taken, not drawn by hand — which is why stages overlap. On a real site something is always being finished while the next trade has already started.

Estimate

In a working account this shows amounts per stage, payments made and the balance. In the demo they are hidden.

Approvals

Every decision that affects the money or the look is logged as its own item. Until the client marks it approved, work on that item does not start.

Work in progress

Each stage is dates and frames from the site. These were shot for the job, not for a website, which is why some of them look exactly like a building site looks.
