Salon renovation in Obolon

Salon in Obolon

A beauty salon in Kyiv's Obolon district: the fit-out took the space from bare shell in a new-build to a finished interior between 21 September and 14 December 2020. The work included surface-mounted electrical installation, a screed and self-levelling floor, large-format porcelain stoneware tiling, decorative concrete-effect plaster and the installation of gypsum 3D panels. The interior is done in loft style: exposed concrete slabs, track and pendant lighting, and zoning with a metal grille planted with greenery.

The bars are built from the dates the photographs were taken, not drawn by hand — which is why stages overlap. On a real site something is always being finished while the next trade has already started.

Estimate

In a working account this shows amounts per stage, payments made and the balance. In the demo they are hidden.

Approvals

Every decision that affects the money or the look is logged as its own item. Until the client marks it approved, work on that item does not start.

Work in progress

Each stage is dates and frames from the site. These were shot for the job, not for a website, which is why some of them look exactly like a building site looks.
